Luther's Table exists to change the world by loving all people, fostering authentic community, and breaking down barriers through food, drink, the arts, and a spirit of generosity.
We love being a place to host deep conversations - theological or philosophical, over a drink or a meal.

The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere brought me into the Luther's Table community over 10 years ago and I've felt the same embrace ever since. I have volunteered with organizing the annual Fundraisers and I am a member of Roots Of The Table. There are numerous 'L.T.' Events that I've supported from the Arts, the music, especially jazz, birthday's,
holidays, we all rejoice celebrating at Beer and Carols! Friendships have grown and deep conversations and awareness happen within these walls. I am thankful to serve on the Board and I look forward to our reopening in the near future.
Kim has been involved with Luther's Table when it was a mere concept. Thanks to the generosity of Renton Lutheran Church, that dream became a reality! Kim has been in the background supporting in different ways. Now serving on the board gives her the opportunity to continue the dream!
I’ve been a volunteer at Luther’s Table for the past five years, mainly on Tuesday evenings working the front counter, tending the bar, washing dishes and doing whatever else needed to be done. I love the LT community, the unlikely friendships that I’ve made there and the deep conversations I’ve had with people I would not have met otherwise. I’ve been on the Board since 2019 and I’m now also on the Transition Team whose purpose is to envision what LT will become when we reopen after the pandemic. I’m certainly looking forward to that time!
Sue is a long time Renton resident and Luther’s Table patron.

What I love about Luther’s Table? The people and the music. A welcoming setting where people connect over food and drink.
Paul Kacynski is the pastor of Roots of the Table, the worshiping community which meets at Luther's Table on Sunday evenings. Paul has a big heart for public ministry and helping the vulnerable communities of our neighborhood. Every day is an opportunity to bring a little more joy into the world!
